Kolya
Kolya is a good film! Saw it a few weeks ago, after it had been recommended at a Writer's Guild thing. Really good story, and I love subtitles.One of those sorts of stories where you know what's going to happen, he's going to get real close to the child, etc. ... but you still watch anyway, because the acting and the story was done so well. The political backdrop was cool too, especially how he sees the former secret police guys in the crowd at the liberation of the Czech republic.
Great movie, and deserving of the kudos it gets.
